During the current “Stay at Home” issued by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Zinner & Co. staff are working remotely to meet the needs of all of our clients.
Thanks to the efforts of all Ohioans, in April we have successfully “flattened the curve” and avoided overwhelming our hospitals with COVID-19 cases.
By practicing social distancing during this challenging time, you have helped to make a difference and save lives.
In late April, Gov. DeWine announced the Responsible Restart Ohio Program, which allowed healthcare institutions including hospitals, clinics, dental offices and veterinarians to begin outpatient procedures and treatments for other life threatening conditions on May 1.
On the following Monday, the government allowed those in the manufacturing, distribution and construction industries to go back to work. It was also announced consumer retail locations will reopen on May 12.
The governor also extended his “Stay at Home” order until the end of May.
Based upon these orders, Zinner & Co. will continue to operate remotely and will not formally reopen our offices until June 1, at the earliest.
During the next month, we will remain fully functional and able to assist you with any questions or issues you may have. It is our goal as service providers to continue to provide the highest level of customer service, which you have come to expect from Zinner & Co.
Over the last decade, we have made major technological investments, which were designed to allow our staff to work remotely.
“Long before the pandemic, our auditors were working remotely most of the time at our client’s facilities,” Zinner & Co. Managing Partner Robin Baum, CPA, said.
Now, through at least the end of May, the rest of the staff will continue to work remotely as well.
Baum wants to assure clients their information will remain safe.
“One of our largest expenses is in technology to encrypt and ensure the safety and protection of our client’s vulnerable information,” she said. “We have made and will continue to make keeping your information protected a top priority.”
If for any reason you need to speak with one of our team members, do not hesitate to call or email them. They may not be working in the office, but they are still working to help protect your financial well-being.
