Snyder and Hilditch also promoted

Zinner & Co. is proud to announce that Laura B. Haines, CPA, has been named a partner.

Prior to her promotion, she was the firm’s Accounting Tax Services Senior Manager.

“I am excited for this opportunity,” said Haines. “It will be challenging, but an opportunity to make a difference for our clients and employees.”

Haines joined Zinner & Co. in 2002 as part of the inaugural class of the Zinner & Co. internship program.

Since then, she has worked her way up through the firm, holding several positions in both the tax and accounting departments.

As the Accounting Tax Services Senior Manager, she provided guidance, strategy, and counsel to private businesses and multi-generational companies. Her expertise helped clients throughout all phases of the business cycle, from start-up through succession planning.

A Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, her technical expertise includes accounting, compilations, and reviews. Her focus spans all industries, and subspecialty areas include real estate, professional services firms, and medical practices.

Haines graduated from Kent State University and began her work in public practice in 2004. She is a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Academy, a three-year intensive leadership development program for CPAs who have been identified to lead and grow their firm, and also a past member of Toastmasters International.

Zinner Partners Robin L. Baum, CPA, Managing Partner; Susan D. Krantz, CPA, CGMA; and Brett W. Neate, CPA, M.Tax, issued the following joint statement congratulating Haines on becoming a partner:

"Laura is a great addition to our partnership! She has been with our firm for over 20 years and knows many of our clients and all of our staff. She is a great communicator and someone who is always interested in client service, first and foremost. She is also a wonderful trainer and mentor for many of our younger staff members. Laura exemplifies all the qualities that we want for the future of Zinner & Co."

Haines thanked both the current and past partners and staff at Zinner & Co. for helping her throughout her career. She also credited her family for being supportive of her work.

In addition to Haines’ promotions, Zinner & Co. also announced the following promotions:

Kent State University graduate James Snyder was promoted to Accounting Tax Services Supervisor

Jesse Hilditch, who graduated from Kent State University, was promoted to Accounting Tax Services Senior.

The partners congratulate both Snyder and Hilditch on their new positions, as well.
