SBA Announces Changes to COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program

Men and women who retired as members of the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, commonly called OPERS, need to be aware of a change that may affect their healthcare coverage.
OPERS retirees who are not of Medicare age will need to opt in during an upcoming open enrollment period in order to receive monthly payments to purchase health coverage. This is required, as the current OPERS group healthcare plan will be terminated at the end of the year.

On June 2, the Ohio Department of Health issued a Director’s Order to rescind the vast majority of former health orders regarding mask mandates and social distancing. Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team Helps Bring Pets and Owners Closer Together

Growing up in the inner city, the 6-year-old saw the stray dogs in his neighborhood knocking over garbage cans looking for food and wanted to help them. Soon, he began to bring the dogs into his home, but was not allowed to keep them. He had to smuggle them into his bedroom and trained them, knowing they had to be quiet in order to keep them hidden.
Zinner & Co. is pleased to continue its support and sponsorship of the Magic of LightsTM, being held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, Ohio from November 25, 2020 through January 2, 2021 between the hours of 5:30 and 10 p.m.
Magic of LightsTM is a yearly tradition for many Northeast Ohio families, who marvel at thousands of decorative displays and interactive holiday lights.
The event is a dazzling, drive-through holiday lights experience featuring favorite holiday scenes and characters of the season using the latest LED technology and digital animations.
For the past 94 years, University Settlement, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has provided much needed social services to the residents of the Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood.
They have been the main social services provider to the community and have followed their mission: To offer the individuals and families they serve the resources by which they can learn, grow and thrive.

Zinner & Co. Coronavirus , COVID-19 , Silver LiningsWhen movie theaters were forced to shut down in mid-March due to safety concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic, Atlas Cinemas Vice President Gabriel Saluan made a financially difficult decision to keep his managers on payroll.
While other theater chains were laying all of their employees off, Saluan saw an opportunity to reinvest in his theaters and he needed his managers to play a key role in reopening to the public.

The Race is The Gathering Place’s largest annual fundraising event.
